Who we are

Prime Data Gh ("we", "us") sells MTN, Telecel and AT mobile data bundles online in Ghana. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this site, why, and what your choices are. We handle personal data in line with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

What we collect

• Recipient phone number. The number you enter to receive the data bundle.
• Order details. The network, bundle size and price, the date and time, our order reference, your payment reference and the delivery status.
• Payment confirmation. Payments are made on Paystack's secure page. We never see or store your card number or mobile money PIN. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, its amount and its reference.
• A placeholder email address. We don't ask for your email. Paystack requires one, so we create it from the recipient number (for example, 0241234567@primedatagh.com). It is not a real inbox.
• Technical data. Our hosting providers may log your IP address and device details when you visit, which we use to keep the site secure and stop abuse.

Cookies and similar storage

• Essential. Your browser remembers that you have seen the intro screen for the current visit, and remembers your cookie choice. The site works without anything else.
• Analytics (only if you accept). If you press Accept on the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited and how the site is used, such as device type, approximate location and how you arrived. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.

You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of the page.

Why we use your data

• To deliver the data bundle you paid for to the number you entered.
• To confirm your payment, show your receipt and help you if something goes wrong.
• To prevent fraud, misuse and security problems.
• To keep records we are required to keep for accounting and legal reasons.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it, only if you accept analytics.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed, with these kinds of providers:

• Paystack, which processes your payment under its own privacy policy.
• Our data-delivery partner, which receives the recipient number, network and bundle size so it can send the bundle.
• Google, for analytics, only if you accept.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers that run the site for us.

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose it if the law requires us to, or to protect against fraud.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for customer support, dispute handling, accounting and legal obligations. After that we delete or anonymise them.

Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it where we no longer need it, or to stop using it for a particular purpose. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time. Contact us using the details above and include the number or payment reference involved so we can find your records.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to Ghana's Data Protection Commission.

Security

We use encrypted connections, keep payment handling with Paystack, and restrict access to order records. No system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

Children

This site is not aimed at children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Please check back from time to time.
